I read about this today.  There's been speculation about those two leaving for most of this season.  Knight hasn't been on much at all.  Izzy just found out that she's sick, thanks to Dead Denny "being there for her" so the storyline is ripe for her leaving too.

Am I the only person who will be relieved if Izzy leaves? Heigl's complaining just got to me way too much. She is doing nothing for her reputation by bashing the series that made her a household name, and if I was a studio, I'd think seriously before hiring her.

As for Knight, I will miss him...but his character really hasn't done much at all lately. I am more interested in Callie, his ex, than him!

I will really miss George, especially because Heigl is the one I dislike, haha. However, I think it was very tastefully done with the elevator seen in the finale. And as sad as I feel saying this, I think his leaving storyline will bring a lot of depth to the characters who remain.
