Secret Life Season 3

Okay admit it: Who watches the show? I got pretty addicted to it (thank my niece for that) - it's pretty good and pretty interesting in addressing teen motherhood. We're excited for the third season to start - there's a lot going on and a possible new teen pregnancy to deal with on the way. More drama...more lessons to learn....

I watch it...and yes I am hooked

Yeah, I can't help but watch it every time it's on! I can't believe it's season 3, especially with all that's happened. So hard to keep straight sometimes :-P which is why I have my niece watch with me....Did you watch the season finale? Did you think that girl Adrian is pregnant?

I don't know if Aidan is going to be  pregnant or not but maybe the producers felt they needed to show a girl who is very active with different partners and how not knowing who the father is can be a reality with that type behavior especially with unprotected sex. They already showed teens you can get pregnant the first time so guess they need to take this route and YES I think the producers need to have her be pregnant but I also think she will miscarry. It still gets the message out one way or the other and they need their resident bad girl    Wondering if Amy gets together with anyone..Ricky?

Very good points! It's true that they may need to show the consequences of someone sleeping around - I guess we'll see how it turns out in a week or so, huh? If Adrian turns out to be pregnant, the dad would be Ben...which means that would definitely ruin things with him and Amy...which means that she and Ricky might get together! Right? It's all a tangled web!

I have never seen the show before but the following quote comes to my mind:

Oh what a tangled web we  weave, When first we practice to deceive!

Haha...I guess that pretty much describes the show - deception and tangled webs!

There's a marathon on Monday that I'm planning to catch a couple episodes, just so I have everything straight by the time it premieres Monday night!

It's great when a TV network has a marathon of a popular show especially if you missed a few episodes when the series originally aired.

Yes I did! I felt it was a nice mix of youthful ambiance and plot variety.

I am friggin addicted to it! My teenager laughs at me. I watch, she doesn't although she did the first season but she feels it is unrealistic!

Haha, love it! We think it’s very addictive entertainment so we’re glad to hear you are tuning-in every week.  Are there any characters or couples you’ve invested in through the last couple seasons? Personally, I’m a big Ben/Amy fan so that’s the storyline I’m watching out for this season – it’s a pretty interesting one. What about you?

I like Ben/Amy and Ricky. Ricky's storyline could be broadened by looking more into his background, why he is the way he is. I also like Grace's family, the new marriage..they can delve into that. LOVE TOM! He is hilarious with his frank to the point comebacks! Also glad Grace's ex is with that other girl (blanking on her name).
George is also hysterical but IMO the least realistic father image. The daughters seem to parent him which is odd. The kids in general all seem older than the age they play.

Wow, you have our characters down! I think you are talking about Madison, the one who is dating Jack (Grace’s Ex) – it gets so confusing sometimes Hope you keep watching – Bristol Palin will be guest starring next week on our July 5 episode!

By the way do any of the kids on that show date in real life? (I just recall reading that there were many hook ups on shows like the Brady Bunch and Happy Days..way back when ) I am assuming that being attractive teens on a show, it is bound to happen sooner or later!
